2. How to eat
2. How to eat
In the morning I would usually starve myself, and later that day I wouldn’t allow myself to eat the things I really “oh so badly” wanted. In the evening I would be so famished that I would stuff my face with any kind of food that was around. I’m not talking about carrots and salads, but everything but. It is true, some food was consumed in the blink of an eye. For years, my sad swabbly stomach only knew starvation and utter fullness.
What’s the cure?
Drink your food, chew your drink.
Let’s think about that for a second. It might sound just a little disgusting but it makes sense and a real big difference.
Try chewing your food until it becomes liquified (drink your food) and try chewing (more like swashing about in your mouth) your drink to pre-digest and absorb nutrients faster and better (eat your drink). If you eat slowly, you will feel fuller sooner.
Also make an effort to eat stress-free. Many hundred years ago humans were only stressed when they were in danger and when in danger the blood goes to the head (to think quicker, react faster, etc.) not to the stomach. If you eat while you’re stressed your stomach literally doesn’t digest food that well.
So, drink your food;
Eat your drink;
Do it stress-free.
Just try it out. See you next time, when we will get to the last but not least important key to fat loss: Food combining.
